The Legendary Pink Dots have a show in Cambridge next Tuesday night. Pioneers of dark psychadelia, somewhere on the verge of pop, synth, and ambient, sometimes instrumental and sometimes vocal, they have indeed become legendary. The Dresden Dolls actually played a few all ages shows over the past couple of months, but I was too busy to notice. A friend just pointed out to me that their show tonight, which I was going to ignore because it's at Axis, is actually all ages, and early - so maybe it won't be the usual sucky Landsdowne scene. Quick note: Zap Mama is playing at the Somerville Theater tonight. The show starts at 8pm and Les Nubians are opening. Somerville Theatre is right at the Davis Square stop on the red line. folzgold and some of his friends tried to get Melrose to pass a proposition 2.5 override to help fund their schools, but it didn't pass.
